Home Hosting
Home Hosts make sure our visitors experience our Texas hospitality! Sister Cities will make
sure that your home hosting experience will be a pleasurable one. We provide a host family orientation prior to receiving your host as well as photo and profile of your guest. This is an enriching international experience for the host family and the visitor. Home hosts are given the option to choose the type of visitor they would like to welcome in their home: a student, a teacher, a business person, etc., as well as indicate the gender preference.
Activities involve visiting cultural and historical places, businesses and places of worship, sports and recreational facilities, etc., as part of the visitor’s outlined program. Day trips to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio might be part of the itinerary and hosts are given the opportunity to participate in as little or as many of these activities as they wish.
Home hosts welcome our visitors to their home. We invite them to live our way of life, share the food we are proud to eat, offer them to participate in our activities. At the end of the program, home hosts are encouraged to evaluate their experience that may help us fine tune our program.
