Since its inception, Fort Worth Sister Cities International has won numerous awards for its outstanding programs. Used as a model throughout the country, FWSCI has developed unique and innovative programs in order to promote a more peaceful world. During the summer of 2002, the People to People Peace Conference will be held which will create a template for other cities to replicate in their quest for global understanding. Fort Worth Sister Cities' unique youth programs encompass a wide variety of programs making up 82% of all programming for the organization.
