DESCRIPTION:Over the last two years relations between the US and Russia have deteriorated badly.  Fort Worth Sister Cities feels the time is ripe for citizen diplomats from both countries to step in and help reduce this non-tenable situation. Many Americans and Russians genuinely yearn for good relations between our two nations. There are no problems between the peoples of Russia and the USA. We only need to overcome our distrust and fears\, and build cultural understanding and respect of each other to guarantee friendly relations.
