DESCRIPTION:Join this dynamic summer leadership program bringing Fort Worth students together with high school students from around the world. This year’s theme\, “Peace Builders” will encourage students to explore how we see other cultures and understand global influences while using youth leadership skills to promote world peace through service to their communities. SUMMARY:Tricolore Games
DESCRIPTION:The Tricolore Games\, held every four years in Fort Worth’s sister city\, Reggio Emilia\, Italy\, began due to admiration for the world Olympic Games and their ability to create peace and unity among people.\n\nFort Worth Sister Cities International partners with local schools and sports teams who are responsible for preselecting team members based on their sport’s requirements and Sister Cities’ guidelines. Selected team members and coaches attend team and cultural orientations and cover all expenses pertaining to their participation.\n\n\nNearly 80 Fort Worth students attended the Tricolore Games in Reggio Emilia in 2018.
