SUMMARY:Tricolore Youth Sports Games informational meeting
DESCRIPTION:Fort Worth youth athletes from a variety of sports have an opportunity of a lifetime to join Team U.S.A. and travel to Reggio Emilia\, Italy for the seventh edition of the Tricolore Youth Sports Games. Fort Worth is the only city invited to represent the U.S.A. and will join 3\,000 athletes from 20 other countries for this unique experience. \n\nSister Cities selects coaches from schools and sports teams who are responsible for the selection of athletes for teams based on their sport’s requirements and Sister Cities’ guidelines.  Selected athletes and coaches are required to attend team and cultural orientations and cover all expenses pertaining to their participation. \n\nIf you are interested in becoming a coach\, a youth athlete on a team or just want more information about how to get involved\, join us at this informational meeting and bring your friends.

SUMMARY:A World of Art: Connecting Fort Worth and Guiyang
DESCRIPTION:Fort Worth is excited to partner with our sister city of Guiyang\, China for a student art contest to promote global awareness between the two cities. Artists will submit an original painting about what being from the Fort Worth community means to them. The selected paintings will be given as a gift to Guiyang in the spirit of friendship and cultural understanding.\nEligibility\n\n 	Must be original work\n 	Water color\, oils\, pastels\, pen & ink\, charcoal\, or mixed media is acceptable\n 	Nothing digitally produced and no photography\n 	No larger than 16in x 16in\n 	Artist must be high school student in Fort Worth\n\nSubmissions due March 6.\n\nDownload the application
