To maintain our global connections and make new international friends, we are scheduling some amazing and fun virtual games and activities for you each week during the summer. This program will be known as “Cultural Connections” and is a completely virtual eight-week program with Fort Worth and all its sister cities. This year, Sister Cities International is tackling the virtual world by introducing their very first online conference. As more sister cities programs explore new ways of connecting with their international partners, they thought it would appropriate that this year’s conference theme be “Reimagining Citizen Diplomacy: New Connections in a Virtual World”. Join this dynamic summer leadership program specifically designed for middle school students completing grades 6-8. The Jr. International Leadership Academy (JILA) students will meet and interact with other Fort Worth middle school students as well as university students from our sister cities while studying
